Animal Production Research publishes original, basic, and applied research articles on research relating to domesticated animals (cows, sheep, goats, and poultry); however, contributions to other animals may be published where relevant. Topics covered include animal breeding and genetics, animal nutrition, animal physiology and reproduction, livestock farming systems, sustainability and resource management, animal behavior, health and welfare, feed quality and nutritional value, veterinary medicine, and husbandry engineering. This journal has no submission fees, but all accepted papers will be subject to an Article Publishing Charge (APC) of 3500000 Rials for publication.

All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism by the “Hamanandjo system” of the Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IranDoc) (https://tik.irandoc.ac.ir/). The acceptable similarity percentage is less than 25%.

The abbreviated title of this journal is “Anim. Prod. Res.”.
